TradeWinds Shutter Services is a new company that has set itself apart from the competition by solely offering maintenance plans and the ability to repair nearly any issue on most types of hurricane shutters. The reason this is good for our clients is because we will always give an honest estimate on the repair and preservation of existing storm protection systems, as opposed to suggesting new shutters. (Personal note** In my years in the business I’ve seen this happen with in-code shutters by multiple companies)

We offer annual, bi-annual, and quarterly service to single home residents and condos alike. Our maintenance includes a full lubrication on all accordion shutters, including both front and back hinges, wheels, locking rods and locks using L.C. Wax Alumaslick.

All rolling shutters are fully lubricated with Teflon Dry Spray, not commonly known as the only correct spray for roll down shutters (L.C. Wax causes squeaking on roll shutters). As well as a detailed Inspection Report of all openings on the home after all shutters have been fully inspected. On the inspection report every opening will be marked as storm ready or in need of repair, our customers can take this report to their homeowners insurance and are often offered reduced rates for a storm ready property.

We give an immediate estimate on all repairs, if approved and we have the ability we will fix the issue at that time.
